[RECAP] NTT Com Startup Challenge 2018 – Final Day

Last Tuesday, on 28 August 2018, ANGIN was invited to attend the NTT Com Startup Challenge with ten Indonesian entrepreneurs from various sectors. It was presented by NTT Communications, Japan’s largest telecom firm who give an opportunity for funding and quality technological infrastructure. These ten finalists was selected from 240 startups who applied. These startup finalists are Live, Raksasa, iGrow, BJtech, Crowde, Raelab, FlySpaces, Ravenry, Halal Local, and Callista.

Co-Founder and General Partner of KK Fund Kuan Hsu, Head of South Asia at GREE Ventures Nikhil Kapur and our Managing Director David Soukhasing were among the speakers and judges at the event.

This time, iGrow was successfully got the first winner, with the reward of USD 5000. iGrow is a marketplace that helps under-employed farmers and under-utilized land to produce organic food and sustainable incomes with cloud-based agricultural management software. While The Best Marketing Award goes to Raksasa, The Best Innovation Award goes to Ravenry, and Halal Local got the Orange Fab Award.
