[RECAP] Oxfam I-WIL Campaign Training Project

On 11-13 June 2019, ANGIN was invited to be a facilitator of campaign training by Oxfam, a partner organization that works to find practical, innovative ways for people to lift themselves out of poverty and thrive around the globe. The training participants were coming from a consortium in Lombok which has various local organizations within Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, and East Nusa Tenggara. Sarah Soeprapto (ANGIN’s communication manager) and Prinka Saraswati (ANGIN’s external consultant) facilitated and designed the training. The training was held for three days at Lombok Astoria Hotel, Lombok.

The training consisted of three parts for each day, the first part is about content writing, the second part is about photography, and the last part is about social media. It was an experiential adult learning which required the participants to actively take part and made hands on article and photography project on their own. Overall, the training was highly participative with the help of ice breaking games.

With this training, ANGIN hopes to expand its impact to existing local organizations in Lombok so local organizations in Lombok can make their own stories heard and get more exposure from other areas of Indonesia.
