On the 26th of November, ANGIN attended the Premier Digital Conference held by Wild Digital Indonesia themed “Breaking Southeast Asia’s Billion Dollar Ceiling.” There were 100 speakers attending, with more than 50 topics and 1700 attendees. The event brought top CEOs, founders and investors from leading tech companies such as Ovo, Alibaba Cloud, and Catcha Group together. The conference also had networking opportunities, such as ‘rapid mingle’ which allowed attendees to set up 15-minute meetings that the other party could either accept or decline.

Throughout the event, speakers from leading companies such as Allianz and Ovo frequently highlighted the importance of staying up-to-date on the latest technological innovations, as there are new technological improvements all the time. This presents untapped potential that has not been fully utilized that can bring increased value to the firm in the form of better service, enhanced insights, and increased efficiency. Specific practical applications of this include streamlining customer service experience, autonomous vehicles, smart robots, computer visualization of data, and even a complete virtual workforce.

Topics other than technological innovation were also discussed, such as the idea that it is not possible to generate profits when creating a socially impactful business. Businesses that have created a sustainable alternative to plastic bags, affordable and easily-accessible interest, and a bank in your pocket weighed in on the discussion and provided unique insights to the audience.

The event attracted an enthusiastic crowd eager to learn how to improve Indonesia’s prosperity and business success, as well as how to optimize untapped technological innovation.

ANGIN encourages its readers to stay informed on technological updates and to think outside the box when it comes to potential applications of this new technology. ANGIN encourages technology and brick-and-mortar businesses alike to seek funding with us if you believe your idea is unique and promising.
