On November 23rd, ANGIN’s Managing Director David Soukhasing was invited to speak at INSEAD Emerging Markets Conference 2019 in Singapore. David sat on the Gender Lens Investing panel, along with Virginia Tan (Founder of Teja Ventures), Jennifer Buckley (Senior Managing Director of SEAF), and Pierrick Balmain (Head of APAC Business Development. The panel was moderated by Dr. Vinika Devasar Rao.
The one-day conference featured industry panels, keynote speeches and networking sessions with professionals, academics and graduate students. The themes covered in the conference were impact investing trends across regions, sustainable finance and ESG investing, gender-lens investing, technology and logistics, Asian technology innovation, and the role of technology on financial inclusion.
