ANGIN and AVPN have recently embarked on a study of the funding landscape for maternal and child nutrition in Asia, particularly on food fortification and the first 1,000 days. We are doing a deep-dive in Indonesia to understand the issues faced by current funders in these and related areas, such as education, water, sanitation, and others, so we can better understand the role of philanthropy in combating maternal and child malnutrition. The findings from this study will be used to inform activities in the lead up to the Nutrition 4 Growth Summit, to be held in Tokyo in December 2020.

ANGIN is proud to join the Government of Indonesia, Indofood, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, GAIN, and Tata Trusts to commit to this initiative!
